I am a freelance journalist and photographer, based in Washington, DC, originally from Newtown, Connecticut.
Since 2024, I have regularly contributed to the Washington City Paper, reporting on crime and the justice system in the District of Columbia. My byline is also featured in the Baltimore Sun, OpenSecrets, the Capital Gazette, and Truthout.
During my studies at UMD, I worked as a reporting intern for OpenSecrets and as a graduate assistant for the university’s library and the White House Correspondents’ Association.
